How do you get skins in Voxiom.io?

There are three legitimate routes: open crates from the shop with VoxGems, buy skins directly from other players on the Market (unlocked at level 15), or win one of the official Discord giveaways that accompany major updates. That is the complete list — the game has no redeem-code system, no battle pass and no ad-based rewards.

The skin system launched with the VoxGems currency in update v0.5.0 (April 2021), and the catalogue has since grown to 438 skins including sprays, each generated with a unique visual seed so that no two skins look exactly alike.

What are the crate odds?

The shop sells three crate tiers, and the community wiki has published the Ultimate crate’s full drop table:

Skin rarity runs on a six-grade scale — Noteworthy, then up through the grades to Artifact at the top — separate from weapon rarity. The 0.5% Artifact line is the entire reason Ultimate crates feel like a lottery: roughly one in two hundred pulls reaches the top grade.

Are there any redeem codes for free skins?

No. Voxiom.io has never had an official redeem-code mechanism — the community wiki’s page index contains no codes section, and the developers’ documented free-skin channel is Discord giveaways. The v0.9.2.0 update notes, for example, explicitly announced skin giveaways hosted in the official Discord server around the clan-rankings release.

That makes the official Discord the closest thing to a “codes” system: join discord.com/invite/GBFtRcY (the invite is permanent and the server counts roughly 35,000 members) and watch the announcement channels around update drops. Anything else — YouTube “gem generator” links, third-party code lists — has no connection to a real redemption path, because none exists in the game.

How does the Market work?

The Market is the player-driven trading layer added in the September 2021 market update. It unlocks at level 15, after which you can list skins for VoxGems and buy listings from other players. Prices float with demand, so event-exclusive and discontinued skins command large premiums, while common Noteworthy-grade skins trade near crate prices.

Three practical habits:

1. Check the Market before opening crates — if your target skin is listed below the expected crate cost for its rarity, buying it outright is the better deal.
2. Sell your duplicates. Duplicate pulls are dead inventory; listing them funds your next targeted purchase.
3. Watch giveaway weeks. When a Discord giveaway floods the market with a formerly rare skin, its price dips — bad for sellers, the best buying window there is.

Can you make your own skins?

You cannot upload custom skins into the game, but the official Voxiom Studio tool at voxiom.io/studio lets you compose and preview skin designs, and the changelog’s community-skin releases show player designs being added officially over time. Community creators also publish skin-making tutorials — the design workflow is a known niche within the game’s tutorial scene.

Do skins affect gameplay?

No. Every skin is visual only — damage numbers, recoil and hitboxes are untouched. The economy exists entirely on the cosmetic layer.

What is the rarest skin grade?

Artifact. In the Ultimate crate’s published table, Artifact sits at a 0.5% chance per pull — the top of a six-grade scale that starts at Noteworthy.
